FAQs

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments must be scheduled via our website or in person. Our booking system reflects our soonest available openings up to 90 days in advance. If you would like to be put on a waitlist for a specific date or time, please fill out our contact form with your name, phone number, and availability and we will reach out to you if that time becomes available.

Why do I need a credit card on file in order to book an appointment?

A valid credit card is required to hold all appointment timeslots to enforce our cancellation policy and to speed up checkout times at the time of your appointment. This card is only used to hold appointments and will not be charged unless a cancellation is made after our 48 hour cancellation window, a no call no show has occurred, or if a client would like to use the card as payment for their services.

How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

At the time of booking we send out automated text and email reminders. Changes to appointments can be made up to 48 hours prior to scheduled appointment timeslots via the link in the reminder email. If a change to the appointment needs to be made less than 48 hours in advance, please contact your service provider directly through text or email. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may incur a last minute cancellation fee of 50%.

How often do I need to come in for each service?

It is important to know that every individual is different, so how often an appointment may be needed will vary. Typically brows are scheduled every 4 to 6 weeks, lash lifts are recommended every 6 to 8 weeks, and for best results, facials are recommended every 4 to 6 weeks.

Can I bring a guest/child to my appointment?

Dahlia Beauty Bar is an open-floor concept esthetics spa. To be sure that our guests receive the most relaxing experience possible, we ask that clients refrain from bringing guests or children to appointments, unless the child is being serviced, in which a parent or guardian must be present.

How do I know which service to book?

We offer a variety of services at Dahlia, so if you are unsure of which might be best for you, please send us a message and we would be happy to help you decide. Our estheticians always provide thorough consultations before starting a service to make sure that you receive the best possible results and may modify your appointment to best suit your needs.

If you are looking to start your holistic skincare journey at Dahlia, we offer consultations under our Skin category on our booking page. Our estheticians will perform a skin analysis and create a custom treatment plan based on your skin’s needs. The non-refundable deposit goes towards initial service or product purchase.

Are you able to accommodate allergies?

Yes! Our facial services use a variety of plant compounds, oils, and extracts, so we ask that guests disclose any allergies before we begin customizing your treatment.

If you have any allergies and would like to schedule a patch test before receiving any brow or lash services, please contact us to this up.

Do you accept walk-in appointments?

We operate by appointment only and do not accept walk-ins at this time.

What is a holistic esthetician?

A holistic esthetician is a licensed skincare professional who focuses on treating the skin while also considering the body and mind as a whole. At Dahlia, we use natural and organic products, as well as incorporate lifestyle changes and stress-reducing techniques into treatments to promote overall skin health and wellness. We proudly use Botnia Skincare and Dahlia Skincare for our facial services and incorporate techniques such as intentional massage, lymphatic drainage using gua sha, facial cupping, microcurrent, LED light therapy, etc.
